Ok, so I’m running out of clever titles.

Anyway, re-opening the Carnival of Terror tonight for week 3. It’s been slow so far. I hope my partners make their money back now. Not even concerned with making any myself. I wonder of the kids that wanted a piece of the profit, are going to be willing to give back their hourly rates if there is no profit. Little bastards. Real Detroit Weekly did a write-up about the house. We got the “Most Twisted” Haunted House award. That’s kind of cool. They did a pretty good write up for us.

We also had Fox 2 News film the house yesterday for a TV spot that they are doing for us. It’ supposed to air tomorrow. I hope someone tapes it for me, because I think they’re going to air it in the morning. Or I’ll just miss it, like I’ve missed the radio ad that they play 400 times a day. I think I’m the only person in the Detroit area that hasn’t heard the damn thing yet. From what I understand, it’s a good add though. The funny thing is, I drove Billy home last night after working at the haunted house, and his phone rang. It was Tom. He told Billy that the ad sounded great. Billy busted out laughing. We had 93.1 on the radio, but the volumn was down because we were talking. And I missed the god damn thing again!

Joe, this guy that is helping us with the house, made a DVD for me. He did two seperate walk throughs with his video camera. Then he rendered them together and made the DVD. It’s pretty cool. We get to see what actors need help in their positions. We watched it in my truck yesterday before we went to dinner. He’s going to do a few more walk-throughs tonight, and add to the DVD.

Speaking of my truck (nice segway)
I installed my clear corners, and my hyper white headlights on Tuesday. I ended up having to get hyper white bulbs for my fog lights also. I never thought about that, nice white headlights, and dirty yellow fog lights. So I bought them locally, and through them on yesterday. The only thing left is to replace the big orange turn signal bulbs. They’re still reflecting orange in my corner lights, so I need to change those ASAP. I’ll probably get those bulbs today. They’re only 9 bucks locally. I still havn’t made a decision on whether or not I should swap my taillights with Altezza’s. I just can’t decide.

Hospice care for Yia Yia
Hospice is in now helping care for Yia Yia. They’re just going to keep her comfortable. They did the same for my Papou just before he passed away. I’m just going to keep visiting her as much as I can now. I just hate it that I can’t more now, because of the haunted house. Kel and I visited her on Tuesday. She was awake for the first 5 minutes we were there, but then she fell asleep, so we left her to rest. I won’t be able to go visit her again untill Saturday during the day, barring a major incident that needs to be fixed at the Haunted House.
