The Carnival of Terror had a pretty damn good weekend. Not as much as I would like, but then it will never be enough for me. 93.1 WDRQ fucked us over big time. Man at large was supposed to broadcast live till 11:00 and stay and play music till 12:00. Well, they informed us when they got there that he was cutting the broadcast at 10:00 for some Justin Timberlack bullshit after party. Then the mother fuckers left at 11:00! I’m furious with them assholes. My Dad is ready to stop payment on their check. Billy called Corey, our rep over there, and as far as I know, she hasn’t called him back yet. Bitch.

That bullshit aside, we had a good weekend. We put though a bunch of people and are actors all did pretty well. The funny thing is, we did more on Saturday, than we did on Friday when DRQ was there. We even had a decent crowd last night! Which is odd for a Sunday. And we got to go home around 11:00 last night. Over the weekend we had to forceably remove two groups that were being assholes, which is always fun. No major problems though. For some reason I just wanted to beat the fuck out of somebody on Saturday. I was stressed. There was a group that I could have kicked around, they actually punched one of our actors. The guide that was with them immediately threw them out one of the security doors, and they bolted to their car. I wish they would have congregated, by the time I went after them, they were pulling away. But our guide handled it perfectly, and he actually ended up getting the bonus that night. (one of them at least)

One of our employees, Andrea, made us cookies! Her and Brian are a couple. They both work at the haunted house, and I work with Brian at Rayl. She said she made them for all the security guys, and guys behind the scenes. The cookies on top of the box spelled out carnival of terror. It was really nice of her, and the cookies were damn good. We tore them up pretty good last night after the actors went home.

Visited Yia Yia on Saturday
Kel and I went to the hospital on Saturday. My Dad told me she wanted to see the DVD from the haunted house. So we took Kels laptop up there and played it for her. She wasn’t very responsive though. I guess she was much better on Friday. Yesterday, her temperature was up around 101. From what I understand, it’s getting close.
