I made a picture for the top of the Blog. What do you think? It’s got the name, a pic of me, and my truck since I have a few posts of it already. Good times.

I went to Lowes last night on the way home from work. I needed to get some sandpaper for a project I’m working on. I’m making a housing for an LCD for the backseat of my truck. It’s the first time I’ve ever used fiberglass and bondo. I’m almost done with it. A little patching today, then primer and paint. If it comes out good enough I’ll post pictures. If it sucks, I won’t ![]()
ANYWAY, I had a great experience at Lowes yesterday. I was a die hard Home Depot guy ever since Lowes moved in. The first few times I went to Lowes it sucked. No one around to help, and their prices were high compared to St. Depot. But last night there were nothing but people around to help me find everything and the prices were good. Lowes is closer to the house so this new found respect for them is a good thing. I ended up picking up some sandpaper, a few lightbulbs for the house, a garbage can (I don’t know why, our garbage men are assholes who always throw our can down the street) and I bought myself one of these:

Good times. It’s funny how easy a job goes when you have the right tools.
Am I a Lowes guy now? Not sure. But for those late night jaunts to the hardware store, I will be driving the shorter distance to Lowes from now on. Maybe Gene Hackman knows what he’s talking about.
My plan today is to finish off the housing tonight, mount the LCD and slap it in my car, possibly with the X-box I bought last week. Although I am going to paint the X-box to match my truck if I do throw it in there. All this, of course, is after I go to Best Buy and pick up the Indian Jones Trilogy for Kel. And maybe a few things for myself. ![]()
