I have 4 days off because fo the holiday. We have so much going on this weekend, it’s like I’m working anyway. I need a weekend after the weekend!

Thursday was Thanksgiving. We went to Bonnies for breakfast. Her potato pancakes are practically a food group. Thay’re that damn good. Then we came home, hung out for a little while, then off to Kimmers for dinner with the family. That was good times, we ended up playing poker. At least untill the kids got ahold of the chips during a ciggerette break. So I dealt out 3 card poker, and let it ride to teach people how to play.

Friday, it was off to Auburn Hills Community Center for Mimi’s rehersal dinner. Then to the church in Lapeer for the actual rehersal. The church where Jenny (mimi) and Scott are getting married is awesome. It’s an old stone church up on a hill. Great setting for their wedding. We drove Mimi to her Mom’s last night, after the rehersal, then came home to chill. Now, it’s Saturday morning. Kel’s going to pick up Mimi around 9:30am to take her to get her hair and nails did. I’ll be leaving here around 1:00 to get to the church by 2:00. There’s is like 9 hours between the wedding and the reception, so Kels uncle got senior citizens center where everyone can go to hang out. There’s pool tables, card tables, all kinds of shit to pass the time. Then we have the reception at 7:00pm at Adison Oaks in Leonard. Eric is coming over to dog sit for us…Thanks Bud!

I talked to Chris yesterday, and we’re going to try to get a poker game tomorrow afternoon. I don’t like playing at night when I have to work the next day, because you never know when the game is going to go into the wee hours of the morning. So we’re going to try to get the fellas together around 4 or 5. Hopefully we can get it going, I have an itch for a poker game since Thanksgiving. I TiVo’d the Million Dollar Deal, Showdown at the Sands hold em’ tournament. Fox ran the whole thing as a marathon Thanksgiving day. If you didn’t watch it, you should have. I actually watched it instead of the Lions game. I’m so fed up with the Lions sucking ass, that I find myself constantly rooting for whatever team they’re playing that day. Doesn’t matter the team, I just can’t take the shitty Lions anymore.
