Well, it snowed. About 10 inches. Everyone got to leave work early. Everyone except Fish, Rodney, Maria and myself.

Fish=Industrial sales

myself=representing management

We all live closer than everyone else, so GP asked us to stay. Kind of an impromptu skeleton crew. No big deal though, getting the taxes done today, so I have to leave early.

That’s not my point though. It snowed, a lot. Keep in mind that in good traffic conditions, I have a 9 minute car ride home usually. Shitty traffic, or if I hit a couple of lights, 15 minutes max. Yesterday, it took me over an hour to get home. I idled all the way. This is why I have a DVD player in my car. I watched half of Oceans Eleven on the way home, and it made the ride so much easier to take. I love that damn player.
Of course, once I got home I had to snow blow.(thanks Ron, two years ago this sentence would have ended with “shovel”) When I pulled up, I couldn’t see the driveway. It was nothing but a 12″ drift. My Explorer made it up fine, but there’s no way Kels Celica would have. So I cleared off the driveway, took the dog out back to play with her in the snow (which she loves) then I settled in to watch poker, play my guitar and some UT, and generally just chill. Today will be different though. I’m leaving at 2:00pm to get my taxes done. Depending on the time after that, I might be going to my Dad’s after to finish his computer up, then it’s off to Bonnies tonight for poker, and to finish her computer up.

Another busy day for me.
