My Mom had a major operation yesterday on her back. I don’t know exactly what the precedure is called, but basically it went like this:

Cut open her stomach, remove her guts to get to her spine, put metal cage in her spine, the put guts back.

Hell of a thing to go through. But the surgery went well. About 4 hours worth. And when she was moved to her room around 8:00 last night, she seemed pretty “with it”. So I talked with her for a little while before I went home. She was in a lot of pain, and the morphene wasn’t helping much. This was a bad one, and she’s that much closer to being better. I’m going back today at lunch, then again after work to see her.

I sold my iPaq3955 today! Actually, I’m selling it today. To make way for my new iPaq 2215. Melissa is once again hooking me up! W00t!! She is going to call me today and let me know the price. I’m excited, and sad. Excited about my new PDA, but sad about being without one for a few days.
