Took it down at Fish’s buy in today. It was nice playing during the day. We started at 3:00 in the afternoon, and finished up just after 7:00. It was, once again, Nate and I heads up. I had the chip lead this time, although the result was the same. He went all in on Jack/10 off suit, and I called him with Queen/4 suited. Caught two pair and took it down. The biggest hand was when it was just Rick and I. I had K/10 suited so I raised 1000 pre flop. Rick called me and the flop was 9, J, Q. Rick checked, and I went all-in. Rick called. I thought he had either top two pair, or A/K which would have given him the top straight draw. He had Q,4. I had the nut straight right there, and he called me with top pair. Odd for sure. But I ended up taking it down which gave me a huge chip lead.

I litterally didn’t rake a pot for 2 hours. The blinds just widdling away at me. The forst pot I took down, was “the airlines” or pocket aces. Took a few more down, then went cold again. But I didn’t get stupid, I just waited out the cold deck. Worked out in the long run.

Didn’t really get anything done today
I was at Keko’s till about 3 last night, and I ended up waking up late this morning. I wanted to be at my Dads shop at 8 this morning to make the enclosure for my DVD player in my truck. I’m going to make it so it matches my new custom setup on my speakers and amp. I’ll try to get over there tomorrow seeing how the Super Bowl doesn’t start till 6:20. Right now, I’m debating whether or not to do the etching on my plexi window in my truck. Maybe I’ll at least print it. Then, it’s JSCaC drinking night.
