Tired…
I met my brother at the shop last night around 10:30. His trunk look awesome. H ewelded this custon spiderweb grill over his woofers, it looks fresh. We decided to try to throw on my streetglow kit last night. This kiss of death came from Chris around 11:50 when he turned to me and said “wow, we’re almost done”.
Yep, that did it, that killed us. I got home at 3ish. Although we got everything installed ok, so ot was worth it. Draggin’ a little ass today, and I have to go out and install the switch right now befroe I head off to my aunt and uncles anniversary party. No time to screw around…
1 commentScanner died
Perfect timing for my scanner to eat itself, I just got back into doing some artwork, and actually look forward to after work where I can immerse myself in my drawings. Something like that at least.
Anyway, I will have a link to my sketchbook, finished drawings and all that jaz, once I get the means to upload everything. So if anyone has a suggestion for a scanner for me, post it.

This week at work has SUCKED!!
I couldn’t be more primed for a long weekend. My days just get worse and worse. Not that I have a lot of time this weekend. Lot’s of family things going on this weekend. Should be a good time though.
If you will excuse me, I have to go back to hell….

The Sopranos, best episode since big Pussy was killed!
I love this show. It’s a great show. This season, however, has generally sucked. First of all, not much action. Second, who wants to watch old, gross, unattractive people have sex? That’s just nasty. What this all adds up to, is a complete and total lack of effort on my part to make sure I’m around on Sunday nights at 9:00pm. So I’ve missed the last couple of episodes. Well, last night I watched the rerun of the last episode. It was one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen. I’m totally back into the show now, even though there is only one episode left.
Heres a recap if you missed it:
Adrianna tells Chris about the feds.
Chris beats the crap out of her, and almost chokes her to death.
Johnny Sack takes over as the boss of New York when little Carmine drops out.
Christopher tells Adrianna he needs to clear his head and goes for a drive, but they will turn on Tony and go into the witness protection program.
Then Adrianna gets a call from Tony telling her Chris tried to kill himself and Sil is picking her up and taking her to the hospital.
Sil picks up Adrianna, drives into the woods and puts two bullets in her, as Chris dumps her luggage and drops her car off in long-term airport parking.
Tony tells Johnny Sack he’ll give up Tony Blundetto but he wants to “take care of it” or at least wants a garauntee that it willl be quick. Johhny tells him he’ll do it his way, to which Tony replied “go fuck yourself” smirks and says “it’s my fucking cousin”.
One of the best episodes ever. Now I’m sad that there is only one left. Then, in typical Sopranos fashion, we’ll have to wait 16 months for the final season to come out.
1 commentNo time…
Long day today. Not much time to update. One of the guys in the warehouse screwed up bad today, and kind of wrecked any sort of good afternoon I could have had. So bleh.
Shocked and in disbelief if the pure, unadulterated stupidity I witnessed, I need to go home at 4:30 today. For I feel that any prolonged exposure to said stupidity could be absorbed causing irreparable damage to my psyche.
1 comment1st Annual Fish and Scott Poker Invitational
The poker night went great. Everyone had a good time, and the tourney went really smooth. The place we had it at worked out also. We had a TV so we got to watch the Pistons game while we played. (sucks that they lost, but as long as they win tonight and split on the road, all will be well)
Anyway, Little Rob won the big tourney. It was a chip battle between him and Nate at the final table. Nate went all in on 2 pair after the flop, Q’s and 2’s, and Rob called him with a pair of Queens with a King kicker. You gotta love Nates chances here. But it wasn’t meant to be when Rob caught a King on the river to get a higher two pair. Tough beat for Nate. That gave Rob enough chips to bully everyone else out. Congrats Rob.
Sommers ended up being my God damn nemesis for this game. 10, 10, 9 on the flop, I’m staring at 10, J in my hand as he goes all in in position ahead of me. I call of course, and run right into a full house as he throws down 10,9. I ended up taking Joey out of the game that hand, but Sommers doubling up on me hurt my chip count more than taking Joey out helped it. Then as I get closer and closer to the felt, I get a wired pair of three’s, go all in, and run right into Jay’s pocket Q’s. Bastard. To make matters worse, I caught a set of 3’s, but he also caught a set of Q’s! That actually made it kind of funny, lol.
Good luck with your ATM card Jay.
This wasn’t the only game of the night however. It wasn’t by far actually. I got home that night (or morning actually) at 6:00am. We played four games total, although the last one wasn’t a “normal” game. 300 in chips, $50.00 blinds, 20 minute showdown type. Good times.
I think we’re going to do this once a month. It seemed like everyone had a good time with it. I don’t know about the playing til 6 thing though, that was a little much. I woke up on Sunday at 10:30 after only 4 hours of sleep. I was kind of a zombie all day yesterday. Also, Joey and I played heads-up for a couple of hours yesterday, after this weekend, I’m for sure poker’d out.
I decided before Saturday’s game that I was done with poker for a while. That after the tourney Saturday night, I was going to take a hiatus from the game. I feel even stronger about that now. There was an incident that happened that helped me make that decision. It made me realize something. No need to get into it now, because I don’t want to start any problems, but let’s just say I’m not going out of my way to set up games for the people I currently play with all the time. To be honest, I don’t know if I ever will again. As it stands, I’m not real happy with the situation. With this in mind, Fish and I decided to run a once a month game like Saturdays. I’ll play in those, but that’s it. I’m done with the weekly/bi weekly games. The funny thing is, with the exception of Fish, no one else will put together a game. If the effort on our part stopped, no one would ever play poker again, lol. Hopefully this will change as people read this….I doubt it though. Just a side note, this is NOT the reason I don’t want to play poker anymore.
Anyway, I went to bed last night at 11:00, relatively early for me, but I still don’t feel 100% yet. After a few more cups of coffee maybe….

Tonight is the “Invitation Only 16 Person Showdown”. $500.00 to first place. I’m getting kind of excited about it. It should be a damn good time. It being invitation only re-assures me that there won’t be ant idiot people there who don’t know how to play. It should speed the game up. And, if I lose and go out early, I’ll just go home and watch the Pistons game. ![]()
Thunderstorms, thumderstorms
How come it always rains on the days I need to cut the grass? Screw it. I’m cutting it anyway.
