Thanks to Peter for this. You can download Tribes 1 and 2 for free at Fileplanet. They are promoting the newset Tribes game. From what I remember, they need to do something big like this, because Tribes 2 sucked so bad. Or I might have made that up, not sure. Anyway, get them here.

For those of you that used to play either of these games, I must warn you. Once you have moved on, technologically speaking, it’s extemely difficult to go back. In other words, games that you remember to be great, should stay a great memory. I tried to go back and play Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, which is a game I absolutely loved when it came out, and boy did it suck. Once you move on to the latest and greatest graphics and sound, you can’t go back.
