WOW.

What a night. That was one hell of a game to be at. The first 3 quarters were not very good. Low scoring, not very exciting, but the Pistons were losing through all 3 quarters. The Pistons shooting percentage was so low, that every time they got one to drop the crowd went nuts. That fabricated a little excitement in an otherwise boring first half. The fourth is where it was at though. What a fourth quarter. Every basket, every block, every defensive stop, the place went nuts. The loudest being when Artest popped Rip in the face and got the flagrant 1, and the crowd was chanting “asshole” while Indiana was in a huddle. That was loud. Teyshouns 3 pointer, and Ben’s dunk on the inbound where the other two explosions from the crowd. What a damn good time.

This was Joey D’s first Pistons game. What a game to go to, the Palace was out of control last night. And the seats don’t get much better. We had the two seats between my Dads season tickets, and the isle. 8 rows off the floor. Right behind the table where Joey Harrington, Uncle Kracker, Kid Rock, Chris Chelios, Chris Draper, Steve Yzerman and Steve Mariucci sat.

The only problem about last night, is today, I’m dragging ass. I’m more alert than I thought I would be, but this morning I almost mucked work to stay home and sleep. I rolled in a little after 2:00am last night, after I took Joey home. Long night, and so far, today is moving pretty damn slow also.
