So USA ended up with the silver. Japan won the gold. Romania won the bronze. Yesterday made the homosexual feeling of watching mens gymnastics all worth it when I saw a Romanian dude fall off the high bar. Now I know that it was probably the worst moment of this dudes life. His entire career he has been training for this exact situation, and he fell face first. In position to try and seal the gold medal for his team, and he crumbled under the pressure. But none of this changes the fact that it was funny as hell when it happened. I mean, that’s why you watch this shit right? Man, if you missed it, it was great.

Bummer for that dude, funny for me.

Anyway, any of you guys watching the olympics? It’s not something that I religously watch, but when I see it on, I can’t turn it off. I don’t know why, I just generally like watching this stuff. Right now, I’m watching the USA mens gymnastics team. They’re in first right now bur Romania is catching up. I’m realizing that I don’t really know what the hell is going on as far as the scoring or whatever. So I’ll just watch and wait for the end to see who wins.

I’m making a new MPT rule. Why? Because I can. We’re going to have a sign in sheet at these events. You don’t sign in, you don’t get updated. Plain and simple. Updating the site for last weeks game was rediculous.

The pool that is. We went swimming yesterday. I froze my ass off. But it was fun for the few minutes we could stay in the pool, lol. Hopefully the water will warm up today, and maybe we’ll go again tonight. I will get pics of the pool up this evening probably.

Also, I noticed something today. Is it me, or do people generally always need assurance no matter what they are doing? Something that happened this morning got me thinking about this, and I’m pretty sure it happens a lot more than I ever noticed. What’s up with that? Someone else can be the person to try something new every once in a while.

Is it people in general, or is it just people around me? Hmmm, i think this is the better question. Of course now I’m thinking, is it my dumb luck that I have people around me like this, or do I attract them? That’s a scary thought. Or is it? Maybe they latch on to me because I exude confidence and have a natural ability to lead. Yeah, that’s probably what it is.
