I almost missed it, but here it is Bonnie!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MELISSA AND BONNIE!!!

You know, having a site like this where people get a peak into my psyche, isn’t as easy to keep up as one might think. Maybe not all, but at least most of the posts have to be somewhat interesting, or why would anyone come back?

A situation happened today that makes my job here really easy. I had an unbeleivable conversation today. Maybe it’s just me, but I never thought I would hear something this rediculous coming from an adult.

Okay, so I’m sitting in my office today and a co worker walked in to ask me a question. I will leave her name out of it, although now you know it’s a woman.
So, here’s how the conversation went:

woman: “Scott, do you know any carpenters?”
me: “Carpenters?”
woman: “Yeah, you know, someone who lays carpet.”

At this point I had a knee-jerk reaction. With a blank look on my face, I looked up from my work and said:
“Are you fucking serious?”
To which she replied:
“Yeah, why?”

Let it soak in a minute, I’m dead serious.

This is when I broke into laughter, and continued to explain to her what a carpenter is. The best part is I asked her “so, you mean to tell me that all your life you thought Jesus layed carpet for a living?”

Sometimes, this blog is just too easy.
