My 2004 Christmas list
Here it is, my 2004 Christmas list. This is stuff that I could absolutely live without, but I wouldn’t want to. Let’s dive right in, shall we?
Computer parts. I’m a little overdue for an upgrade, and since historically this is an unobtainable list, I might as well put down the best parts imaginable, right?
Intel Pentium 4 3.8 GHz. $775.00 @ newegg. Do I need 3.8g? Nope. Not unless I’m cloning something. But it is the best right now, so why not.
ASUS “P5GD2 Premium” 915P Chipset Motherboard. $234.00 @ newegg. I gotta have a bad ass motherboard to house that processor right? Plus I’m a fan of Asus.
(2)Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, 1GB ECC Registered DDR PC-3200. $318.25 each @ newegg. Yeah, 2gig of RAM is overkill. I would never have to wait for a filter to be applied in Photoshop again though. ![]()
ASUS nVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra Video Card, 256MB DDR3, 256-Bit, TV-Out/DVI, 8X AGP, Model “V9999ULTRA Deluxe/2DT/256″ $579.00@newegg. Best video card out. Period.
Lets wrap all this up in a Cooler Master Praetorian SILVER ALUMINUM MID-TOWER CASE $99.00 @ newegg. Not the most expensive case in the world, but I really like the clean look of it. Slap in a OCZ PowerStream 520W Power Supply for $139.00 and we’re all set.
So let’s see, a little quick addition and I come up with $2462.50. That would be the top of the line computer right now. I could clone myself, then make the clone me, do nothing but update this site, all day everyday. Cool.
Next we have the almighty iPod jacket. This was on my list last year but I never got it. So here it is again:
Burton Shield iPod Jacket $379.99

NEXT!
New cell phone. I hate the messenging service on my cell phone. Anyway, might as well make it an updrage in the process. And since Sprint doesn’t have the new Motorola RZR, or a Sidekick type phone, I’ll take the Samsung MM A-700. It’s 219.99 if your a new sign up, but for you existing Sprint customers, it’s only $17,000.00. Thank you for your business.

For the house:
Bose SoundDock. $299.99 Plug in your iPod, and listen to your tunes. I’d like this for the kitchen, that would be cool.

My camera.
I would like a little digital camera that I could easily carry around with me. Something small, but that can take a nice hi-res picture too. Something like the Sony DSC T1. The one in that commercial with Steven Tyler and the chicks that flip the table over trying to get his picture. Thats the camera I want. $499.99

That’ll do it for now. The days still young though…
