Mine was okay. Nice and relaxing, which is exactly what we needed. Yesterday we played a matinee poker game. Started at 3:00 in the afternoon. On the way there, the roads weren’t that bad out, but it was snowing pretty good. When we left however, it was a different story. It was awesomely bad out. And I had to stop for gas, which sucked because it had stopped snowing and now was raining down little ice balls that stung when they hit you.

Why is it that the last .25 of gas, takes longer to pump, then the first $25.00? Come on now. Is it really pumping that fast, that it “needs” to slow down before it stops? It’s not like it’s a freight train. I mean, what kind of damage is going to happen if it just pumps at full speed until you reach the prepaid amount? I think it’s a scam. They slow the pump down to a crawl, with the hopes that in bad weather people will just quit before they get the full amount they paid for. Apparently $8,000.00/gallon just isn’t enough for these greedy bastards. They have to try and jam you for that extra .20 each time it rains. Well I for one refuse to give it to them. I’ll stand out there, like an idiot, while getting pelted with hail the size of croquet balls, and watch Mujebur Badlandabad behind the counter laugh at me, but I will not just “give” them my money.

Unless of course there is some scientific reasoning behind this phenomena. In which case, I might apologize. Probably not, but there’s always a chance.

Sorry, I went off a little there. Anyway, it was a nice weekend. I’ll be snowblowing when I get home today. Any chance that a 38 degree day will melt the 18″ of snow on my driveway by the time I get home?
