Going to Chi-town this weekend. Well, I’m going to Rosemont. I won’t be able to go into the city this year. It’s all convention center for me, but it should still be a fun trip. My Dad and I are going for the Transworld Halloween and Party show. Yeah, you heard that right, my Dad is going. He says he feels up to it, and if it ends up being too much, we’ll just stop and rest a lot. I’m going to talk to him today about taking my truck, instead of his, since I’m going to be driving and I already have a DVD player and TV’s. With his truck, I’ll have to bring one of my laptops to watch movies on. It’s no big deal, but if I’m driving the whole way, I would rather drive my truck. We’ll see how he feels about that.

My IAC sensor was bad. That’s why my truck wouldn’t start. They could have told me that there was a shoelace untied under my hood, and that’s why it wouldn’t start, I wouldn’t know the difference. But whatever, I got my recall taken care of, and an oil change so it worked out in the end. The service write-up guy tried to up-sell me an air filter, saying mine was bad, and I actually told him to go ahead and replace it, but I don’t think he did. He said he was going to, but if he did, he forgot to charge me for it. I guess I could just look and see…..but it’s cold out.
