Qwame Kilpatrick was re-elected as Detroit mayor yesterday. Man, did Detroit screw up. How the hell could they vote this guy into office again? Did he not embarrass the city enough in his first term? Now we get to watch him hire his family, buy them Escalades, assault reporters, and have lavish parties where strippers die….all over again. All the while, building a wall around Detroit to seperate it from the suburbs. Qwame doesn’t think that the city needs the money from the burbs. Instead, he’d rather racially seperate the two. Brilliant. Detroit needed a change in a serious way.

Of course, as requested by the FBI, there is a Justice Department investigation into allegations that the clerks office was forging absentee ballots. Apparently, dead people can’t vote. Who knew.

So, to the 53% of voters in Detroit that voted for Kwame, what the fuck were you thinking?
