New Camera and Snow!

December 09th, 2005 | Category: Fun

I decided I wanted a new digital camera before Vegas. The digital camera Kel and I have isn’t bad, it’s actually pretty good. It’s not huge, but it’s just not small enough to carry around all day and I’m not one to carry around a camera bag. So I started looking at super portable cameras. Well after a bunch of research, I decided on the Canon SD450.
Canon SD450

First of all, this thing is small. Or as I described it to Kel “this little mother fucker is tiny! TY-NEE!”. For real though, the pictures don’t do it any justice. It’s the size of a pack of ciggerettes. So it will be real easy to carry in Vegas. It also turns on real fast, for those times when Steven Tyler walks by your table in a resturant. Wait….that was a Sony camera. Whatever. Anyway, I love this damn thing. 5.0 megapixel, so it takes some nice high res pics. It’s got a ton of cool little features, like stitch assist to take panoramic pics, and the my colors option where you can take pictures that are all black and white except for the color you choose. Cool shit like that.

Also, it snowed last night. A lot. Like 30 feet. (or 8 inches) So tonight, I snow blow. I was talking to Kel yesterday about the fact that I don’t have any boots. I mean, I have my Timberlane Pro work boots, but I don’t have any snow boots. Remember how great snow boots where when you were a kid? They had that fake fur-more-like-shag-carpeting lining. They velcro’d on, so easy on, easy off. And they were warm and dry. Like moon boots. Those things ruled. Where the hell does an adult get something like that? I need that shit for snow plowing, and I don’t even know where to look.

The Show-Doug E. Fresh on the iPod. Old Skool Friday sucka!
