PS3 shortage
Sony shorted the initial release of the PS3. Sony does this for all of it’s releases. It creates a high demand and buzz right before the holidays. I’m sure there is a warehouse somewhere full of PS3’s that Sony doesn’t want to release untill they beleive it’s time to create another frenzy. Marketing brilliance? Maybe, but at what cost?

what a bunch of fuc@in nuts.
Why does this remind me of the cabbage patch craze of the 80’s. People are nuts (especially those who sit on rocking chairs with their “adopted child” while SOMEONE goes in to sign the adoption papers!)
I guess the real ones are worth some bucks now, however.
You know, Eileen and Ron made a special trip to the “cabbage factory”. I believe Aunt Bonnie went too. Kelly, do you remember that? I did not go, but they brought me back one. It is true that you had to sign adoption papers! LOL
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went there on the way to Florida with Aunt Bonnie, she got a “real” one, the place was set up like a HOSPITAL… they had people in scrubs like real doctors, they were paging people STAT… LOL… we watched Aunt Bonnie’s cabbage patch kid be BORN.. it was SOOO cool… you know for an 8 year old…! They seriously treated it like a real birth and adoption.
…that’s fucked up.
