Everything went well and everyone is healthy.

So I’m in Chicago right now, using the free WiFi at the hotel. This would be the perfect day to have a Slingbox. My Dad and I are sitting here, waiting for NBA.com to update, so we could see what happened in the Piston game. If I had a Slingbox, I would just watch it on my laptop. The only problem is, I don’t really travel that much, and the one trip we take out here each year, hardly seems worth the price, even if the price is only $150.

The only good thing is that I wouldn’t have a bandwidth issue, since I’m not using my Verizon account, which is the one reason I haven’t purchased a Slingbox yet. Although now that I think of it, everywhere I travel to, I get free internet, so maybe a Slingbox is the way to go.

XM and Sirius radio are merging! Woohoo! I got XM because it was offered in my car, but when I stopped to think about it, I probably would have picked Sirius because they play the NBA and NFL games.

XM is sweet though, but I got great news yesterday. XM and Sirius are merging, so I somewhere towards the end of the year, I will get all the stations. That’s good shit right there.

Going to the Chicago show this Friday with my Dad. Should be a good time, we always have fun. This is the last time that the show will be in Chicago though. Next year, it’s moving to Vegas. Bummer huh. Looks like I’m going to be forced to go to Vegas every February. How bad does that suck? What? Not at all? Oh yeah, that’s right, it’s great news. Yipee!

Now, I know that it was sort of predictable based on the episode previews, but seriously, how friggin great was that episode? I love it. Great show. Good times.

If you watch the show, you should check out the graphic novels on NBC.com. They kind of fill in, between shows, and sometimes even give you an insight to new characters not introduced yet, but that will be eventually.

Oh yeah, and we’re in the middle of a heat wave right now. This morning in the way in, it was 0 out. Which is way warmer then the -5 it was yesteday when I drove in. It’s one of those days that if your car breaks down, and you get out to walk to the nearest gas station, you die. Instantly.
