So, what’s the difference between Catalina and French dressing? Anyone know?

    OK, I’ll give it a shot! Catalina is “sweet spicy” with a tomato base, and French is “sweet” with a mayo base. Catalina is awesome on taco salad!!!

    OK, now I have to go make taco salad, thanks a lot!

    Catalina Dressing Ingredients:
    1 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons salt, dash paprika, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon celery seed, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, grated onion to taste, 1/2 cup vinegar, 2/3 cup ketchup, 1 cup vegetable oil

    French Dressing Ingredients:
    1 cup salad oil, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 Clove garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, 1 Small onion – grated, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1 can tomato soup, 1/2 teaspoon paprika
