A little suggestion to lady in the blue BMW…
Could you set your alarm clock for 5 minutes earlier in the morning?
If not, and you decide that you still must put our eye makeup on in the car, heading north on M-53, in the morning around 8:00am, hovering on the low end of the speed limit, while drifting all over the road, using your rear view mirror for your eye lashes instead of seeing the cars behind you, maybe you could do the rest of civilization a favor and GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE FAST LANE!
Thanks

2 commentsNew Laptop
Thanks to Peter, I think I found my new laptop, if I decide that it makes sense to buy it right now with our current financial state. The way that works is that Kelly tells me that it’s my decision if I think it’s smart to spend the money right now, since we are trying to pay down some of our debt. It’s genius really, kind of the whole “let the kid punish themselves, because they will give them self a way worse punishment then you would” mentality. The best part is it works. I know what she’s doing, and it still works like a charm. I mean, she’s my conscience. When it comes to spending, I don’t have one. I’m the ultimate consumer. I LOVE to buy shit. I’ve never felt buyers remorse before, and I’m fairly certain I never will. Without Kelly, I would be so far in debt for buying shit I don’t need, that it wouldn’t even be comical.
Will I buy it? If I acted like an adult I wouldn’t, but who knows. Giving me the option is a scary thing, babe.
So, here is the laptop:

Let my summarize.
17″ screen, 8800GTS video card, which is a GREAT video card, 3gigs of ram, and 250 hard drive, with a second bay so you could add another HD for space, or to for RAID. All this for 1195.00 with a free PC game of your choice! That literally is a killer deal. I’ve been pricing out systems like this for a bit since I sold my old laptop, and this is literally half the price of everything else. It has an ok processor, not great, but not horrible. The bonus is it’s totally upgradeable. Even buying a beefier processor will still leave this laptop waaay under similarly equipped systems.

2 commentsConcert…
So, last week I get a phone call from Brian. He asks if I wanted to go see Marilyn Manson with him, at the Fillmore downtown. I figured, what the hell. I’m not a big Marilyn Manson fan, but the songs of his I do know, I do like, and I wouldn’t mind checking out the freakshow anyway.
So we went Monday night. First off, I’ve never been to the Fillmore before, which is the old State Theater. That’s a cool place. It’s right across from Comerica Park, which is the only nice part of Detroit. Literally, the only nice part. You go 2 blocks in any direction…ghetto. So it was cool to see that theater for the first time.
Second, there was quit a mix of people at this show. It wasn’t just a bunch of goth kids straight from the discount rack of hot Topic. I mean, there was a bunch of those people, but just about everyone else was represented too. I gotta say, it was a really good show. They sounded good, and the stage show was okay, nothing crazy or anything, but it was just a fun concert to see.
Did it make me a Marilyn Manson fan? Not a super fan, but I did add a couple of songs that I heard at the concert to my iPod, so maybe it made me a little fan. if you have the opportunity to check out one of his shows, go, it’s a fun time.
Why a fucking Monday night though, that’s what I don’t get.
