PUPPIES….

June 18th, 2008 | Category: Hmm, Kel
Kel

So we have had Leeloo for over a month now and she is awesome so we decided to let her start sleeping in the bedroom with us. Here’s the problem… she wakes up and wants to play EVERY NIGHT at 4:15.. I don’t understand… she jumps on the bed and walks all over us and then jumps down and starts World War III with Jasmine… It was funny the first night… but now - not so funny. We tried putting her back in her crate at night but now she starts to cry and THAT keeps me up too…. ahhhhh the dilemma… what to do……………………… ??? I NEED SLEEP!!!! Hopefully she will out grow this soon… she is after all only 1!

New Years resolution

January 09th, 2007 | Category: Hmm

Normally, I’m not big on making resolutions for the new year. Making a promise to myself that I was almost surely going to break, just never appealed to me. This year however, I decided to go ahead and make a few, and really try to follow them. One is to get back into shape. Kel is a workout fiend, which helps. Getting back into the swing of things is prving to be pretty easy actually. The second was to post on my site more often, and actually try to do a post a day. Well, since it’s January 9th, and this is my second post this year, we can see that I’m not really following that one. I am going to try though. Work is still nuts, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and I can almost see it! Hopefully my schedule will get a lot less crazy, and I can start adding some fun content here. We will see…

Christmas

December 20th, 2006 | Category: Hmm

Seriously, I can’t believe that Christmas is here already. First of all, the weather has been more like Fall then Winter. Yesterday it was like 50 and sunny. I’ve also been so busy at work lately, staying late, working weekends, flying out of town, that I haven’t done anything for Chistmas shopping. Kelly has done it all. I bought like 5 things total, from two different places. That’s it. Usually, Kel and I will take a day off, some random Wednesday, and we will go shopping. This year we took a day off ahead of time, and I ended up having to go to Louisville that week. That day really helps to get me in the “spirit” of things around holiday time, and I didn’t have that this year.

All I can think about now is that there isn’t enough time left for me for the end of the year, because I have to much shit to do at work. What does that mean?

Tuesday night at Chili’s, tuesday night at Chili’s….

November 15th, 2005 | Category: Hmm

Remember that commercial? It has absolutely no relevance to this post, it just popped in my head while I was trying to think of a title.

How’s it going? Not bad here. You ever have that feeling that you forgot something? It happens a lot when you go on vacation. The old “did I leave the iron on?” It happens to me the second the house leaves my site. I think “did I shut the garage” or “I think I forgot to lock the front door”. Stuff like that.

Well today, I’ve had that feeling all day. Not that I left something on, or that I left the house unlocked, but that I have something to do tonight, but I can’t remember what it is. The worst part is, I think it’s something that I don’t want to do, but have to. So, I’m dreading doing this thing, but I can’t remember what the hell it is. That’s really screwed up.

Hmm

November 14th, 2005 | Category: Hmm

Played cards Saturday night. Came out around 2:00am and I had a flat tire. I mean, flat. Not just low on air. Anyway, Mike busts out his little air compressor, and we fill the tire up. My plan was to get home, then just borrow a compressor, fill the tire, just to get me to the tire place to get my winter wheels put on. Then we could figure out what was wrong with it, and do whatever to fix it. However, I woke up Sunday, and the tire still had air in it. Full. Hmm. Well, I figured I would still swap out the tires today, but I was pretty sure that I would wake up this morning with no air. This morning, tire still had air in it. Full.

WTF?

IE screwey

So, the sites coming along. Problem though. In interenet explorer, the theme isn’t working.

So, if you are viewing this with interent explorer, punch yourself in the face. After that, use Mozilla and you will see what the site is supposed to look like.

This is odd…..

Games

September 30th, 2005 | Category: Hmm

I used to play a lot of video games. PS2, Xbox, PC. Whatever. I thought of something today, I don’t ever play games anymore. I mean, nothing. As a matter of fact, a buddy of mine actually borrowed my Xbox from me weeks ago. So I couldn’t play it even if I wanted to.

The thing is, I don’t know why I don’t play games anymore. I mean, nothing even interests me. Nothing. Peter thought maybe it’s a maturity thing, but I never thought of gamers or gaming as immature. It’s just something entertaining to pass the time. I simply don’t find it that entertaining anymore.

I kind of wish that I still liked playing vids. I remember it being fun. But I just have no desire to play anything. Maybe Tony Hawks American Wasteland will change the way I feel. I’ve picked up and played every new Tony Hawk game since #1. I love those games. Always did. Americans Wasteland is the only game that interests me at all. Not Madden, not WoW, nothing else. We’ll see what happens.

Clairvoyant ?

September 20th, 2005 | Category: Hmm

I could be. Check out this quote from a post of mine from last September:

“Ivan is currently a category 4 hurricane. 30 foot swells in the middle of the storm. Okay….that’s big scary shit. If the storm hits Mobile Alabama as predicted, 12 blocks of downtown could be flooded.

I’m worried about New Orleans. Even though the storm turned a little north, New Orleans is a big ass valley, mostly sitting several feet below sea level. And I’ve never been to Marti Gras!

If it were to get hit, it would be devistating. Experts say there could be as many as 400 thousand people left in the city because evacuation is taking around 10-12 hours. Because of the fact that NO is a valley, if hit it could be under as much as 20 feet of water! Could you imagine the city you live in, being under 20 feet of water?”
