Scott’s dad has taken a turn for the worse this week, please keep him in your prayers. At this time he needs all the love and support he can get, both him and his family!
I know I can count on family to help us through this.

How great was that episode? I mean seriously, how friggin great was that?
No, really, how great was it because we didn’t get to watch it because our cable was fucked up and neither our DVR or our Tivo recorded the episode!
So here’s the breakdown. We had Comcast cable and internet. Our internet would constantly go out on us, but we loved the cable service. The internet thing was a killer though, so we decided to switch to WOW for everything. Once we got WOW we realized that the internet worked well, but the cable service was no where near as nice as Comcast. At first, they had no on demand at all, and the interface was janky. They finally got on demand, but the shit never works for us because of equipment failure…..a LOT of equipment failure. So, after replacing multiple HD DVR’s and cable cards(seems that WOW uses shit-parts) we are going back to Comcast for cable, and keeping WOW for out internet. How fucking convenient is that?
It’s a good thing NBC has their shows online, or I would driving to the nearest WOW building I could find to do bad things. So even though it sucks online, at least we can see yesterdays Heroes and Chuck.

BULLSHIT!!
For the third damn season in a row, one of my randomly drawn people gets voted out on the first fucking show. What a bunch of crap. I’m boycotting this show.
…assholes.
No commentsHow’s your morning?
On the way in this morning, I got pulled over for the first time on my bike. Friggin cops. Was I doing anything wrong? Nope. I got pulled over simply for being a white guy driving a sport bike. It’s such bullshit. Mr. Tough guy copper pulled me over just to harass me, and give me some bullshit ticket because he has some inferior complex towards bikers. Talking like some big bad ass, telling me he could impound my bike and haul me away, calling me things like “criminal”…for what? Being white on a Friday morning? What a bunch of crap. When is it going to end? When can a white guy ride his bike in peace, without worrying about getting fucked with by the police?
…okay, Most of that was bullshit. I did get pulled over, but the cop was cool. I wasn’t flying down the road or anything, but I did step on it a bit to pass a few cars and it happened to be right where the cop was sitting, so I was for sure speeding. He gave me a 5 over ticket, which was a little less then what I was going when I passed him.
He asked what my driving record was, and since it was perfect he gave me a break. Not a huge break, because he still wrote me up, but what are you going to do.
So that was how my day started. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the day brings. How’s your morning?
2 commentsWhats been going on lately…
I NEVER update this thing anymore. Sorry about that. There is actually a lot of shit going on right now. We’re all losing our jobs at work, which is nice. Things were going bad, but we didn’t think they were that bad. A week ago Friday, boss comes in and lays everyone but a few of us off. I’m still there, but who knows for how long. All I’m doing is running a bunch of reports for the bank auditor. I’m thinking we’re going to stay open long enough to collect what we can, and move what we can, to repay the bank, then close the doors. So I’m looking for a job right now, and let me tell you, if you’re out to find a $10-$12 job doing anything, there is a ton out there. Anything else, and you’re out of luck. So far at least, we’ll see what happens.
Let’s see, what else has been going on lately…I got a new laptop. Sort of. I sold my Toshiba, and bought a Sony UX from a buddy of mine, so it was more like a swap. I just couldn’t turn this thing down. Here is a pic of it:

It’s a full version of Windows XP Pro, Bluetooth, WiFi, Cellular EDGE, biometric fingerprint scanner, front and rear cameras, touchscreen with stylus, built in keyboard, all in something small enough to where on your hip. I also got a BT mouse and keyboard, extra case, and two docking stations. Damn good times. I’m actually sitting in my family room typing this out on the BT keyboard right now. I need to get a battery for it though, as the one that came with it is wasted. I got such a great deal on this though, that it’s no big deal to pick one up, which I’ve already ordered. Seriously, this is the coolest little computer I’ve ever seen. Some serious James Bond shit,
Other then that, the same shit has been going on. I’m riding my bike as much as possible, and loving every minute of it. I love the way someone online described it. You get 50 miles to the gallon on something that walks Corvettes off the line all day. That’s about as close to Science Fiction as you can get.
….not that I ever go that fast, of course.
